Human Resources Intern

April - August 2018 • Dallas, TX

What I liked

I love the flexibility of being human resource with a retailer. It wasn't just paperwork, but it was more interaction, coordinator of events, teaching moments with peers and direct reports.

I wish I could of spent more time in the role during internship but working full time and internship mixed with school was a bit much.

Advice

March - August 2018 • Catonsville, MD

What I liked

What I wish was different

I wish that the management and supervisors team was way better and on top of things. Scheduling should’ve been better cause sometimes it would only be 3 cashiers in the whole store for the night. Having short staff pushing back on customer satisfaction.
