The Idaho Health Data Exchange (IHDE) is a non-profit 501(c)(6) company. We are Idaho created, based, and managed.
Our mission is to create, and maintain a collaborative effort to improve the coordination and quality of healthcare through the use of Health Information Exchange and Health Information Technology.
IHDE is the Health Information Exchange (HIE) in Idaho. Health Information Exchange enables doctors, nurses, labs, and other medical providers to securely access their patient’s electronic health information quickly, 24/7/365, to improve the speed, quality, safety, and cost of patient care. We are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. We have a voluntary Privacy and Security Committee which provides oversight of compliance and best practices. Members of the Board of Directors and Privacy and Security Committee represent the private and public sectors, and health care delivery systems, with a passionate interest in Health Information Exchange.
