The NAU/NASA Space Grant offers paid academic year research internships to all STEM majors. Interns are paid $9.50/hour for up to 300 hrs/academic year (between 6-10 hrs/week) to do meaningful science research with an NAU professor or local scientist (USGS, Lowell). Interns present their results at the annual statewide symposium at UA or ASU and also present at the NAU Undergraduate Symposium held in April.
Application process runs from mid-January through mid-March and selections and notifications are made by early May. Internships begin in August (beginning of next semester).
