“Firstly, I liked the fact that the internship program is well organized and structured. There is a separate team that works closely with the interns for a seamless onboarding experience and ensures that the program is truly a fulfilling experience. The project that I worked on during the three months was something the company has been looking for ways to automate. This automatically gave me a sense that I was working on real-world problems and not just a pet project or a proof-of-concept, I liked the independence when it came to thinking of solutions to the problem but at the same time having a supportive team and a manager who is ready to help and are ready to set me up for success.”

“I learned a lot about a topic with which I didn't have much prior experience, and I had access to very knowledgeable mentors to help guide me and provide in-depth explanations. The work I did was both interesting and useful, and it provided an opportunity for me to apply knowledge from a variety of classes I'd taken while also learning something new at the same time. I had a lot of control over the direction of my work and it was often my responsibility to make and justify design decisions. I also had the opportunity to work collaboratively with a variety of different people in different roles over the course of my internship.”
