Camp Aid

“The experience helped shape me as a person and future clinician. I was able to have a fun summer while helping another person enjoy theirs as well.”

“It was an extremely humbling experience where I had the unique opportunity to grow and learn while also selflessly serving others. I worked with children diagnosed and living with a wide range of physical disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Seizures, Rett Syndrome, and many others. I was able to work on life skills with them through working to meet each of their individual PT, OT, and Speech Pathology goals. This was so exciting! To be able to recognize that they may not be able to learn the same things as everyone else but are still able to learn and to grow and being a facilitator of that growth was one of the best experiences of my life. ”
