What I liked

I love the work environment and the variation of tasks. I enjoyed preparing and assisting golf outings, 5K runs, the NCSLL summer lacrosse league, Lime Light Gala, campaigns, and various fundraising events. It has been a wonderful experience and has taught me a lot about how non-profits operate. I love being part of a wonderful mission and I met many great people along the way.

What I wish was different

Nothing because I truly enjoyed my time here!

Advice

My advice would be don't be afraid to ask staff members if they need help with anything and also ask many questions.

What I liked

I really enjoyed my time at the HEADstrong foundation! I meet so many nice people and learned so many different skills!

What I wish was different

I commuted an hour 30 minutes plus one way. I wish I lived a lot closer so I could be more involved.
