Fast Food Worker

May - August 2019 • Zionsville, IN

What I liked

I enjoyed the experience of working in this industry, something I never did growing up that I think a lot of other kids my age were doing. I also enjoyed my coworkers and the level of care that my boss brought to the workplace every day.

What I wish was different

I initially planned on working just 20/hr a week and focusing on my athletic career, however, the restaurant was so short staffed that I ended up working 35/hr a week - something that I didn't mind doing to a small extent, but not the amount I did.

Advice

I was unsure about working here initially, but if it makes sense for your situation, don't be afraid to go out and try something out!
